BUS 160 - Entrepreneurship3 credits An introductory course into the field of entrepreneurship. The course focuses on the role and nature of entrepreneurship within the global economic environment. Topics will include creating and starting a new business, obtaining financing for the new venture, managing, growing, and ending the organization. [SPRING-EVEN YEARS] Three hours lecture per week. Prerequisite(s): Complete MAT 023 as a prerequisite, or appropriate placement score. Prereq/Corequisite: Take ENG 094 as a pre or corequisite, or appropriate placement score. Note: All developmental courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better in order to progress to the next developmental level or into college-level courses.
