CRT 125+ - Pharmacology for the CRT-I2 credits A study of the basic principles of pharmacology including drug names, sources, classification, forms, mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics and drug interactions. The drug profiles of the medications in the EMT-I scope of practice are covered. Psychomotor review includes vascular access and medication administration. [FALL] Course Fee. Two hours lecture per week and eight hours laboratory per semester. Prerequisite(s): Current certification as a Maryland or Nationally Registered EMT.
