CIS 153+ - Operating Systems

3 credits

An examination of various operating systems including Windows, Linux and Mac OC. Explore the installation, configuration and utilization of the operating systems. Basic hardware information will be covered as needed. Students will have hands-on/online simulation activities using, installing, supporting, and updating various operating systems. Course content will include the domains covered in the CompTIA A+ 1002 exam or current exam. [Fall] Two hours lecture, two hours lab per week.
