ETT 120 - Industrial Electricity and Troubleshooting3 credits A study of the theory and application of electricity in an industrial environment. Basic analysis techniques are applied to industrial machinery. Course content includes AC and DC motors, control circuits, transformers, protective devices, and facility planning. Emphasis will be placed on troubleshooting faulty electrical and electronic components and systems including 110 and 220 volt power as well as single phase and three phase circuits. [AS NEEDED] Two hours lecture, two hours laboratory per week.
