BUS 230 - Marketing3 credits An introductory course to the field of marketing. Its purpose is to give a general understanding of the forces operating institutions employ and methods used in the marketing of goods and services. Areas such as advertising, sales promotion, retailing, and wholesaling will be covered. [FALL] Three hours lecture per week. Prerequisite(s): Complete MAT 023 as a prerequisite, or appropriate placement score. Prereq/Corequisite: Take ENG 094+ as a pre or corequisite, or appropriate placement score. Note: All developmental courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better in order to progress to the next developmental level or into college-level courses.
