A survey of English literature with attention given to the cultural backgrounds of literary works. Major writers from the Romantic and Victorian periods, as well as 20th Century are studied, including Wordsworth, Browning, Yeats, Joyce, and Eliot.3 credits [SPRING] Three hours per week.
