MAT 031+ - Elementary Algebra An introduction to algebra. Topics included are solving linear equations and inequalities, an introduction to functions, graphing linear equations, solving systems of two linear equations, roles of exponents, operations on polynomials, and an introduction to factoring. 0 credit; 3 load hours. [FALL/SPRING] Three hours per week. Prerequisite(s): Complete MAT 023 as a prerequisite, or appropriate placement score. Note: All developmental courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better in order to progress to the next developmental level or into college-level courses.
