ART 160 - Fundamentals of Photography

3 credits
An introduction to technical aspects of photography, including camera characteristics, photographic materials, film and print processing, and aesthetic considerations such as topic selection, lighting, and composition. Darkroom techniques are practiced. Students are expected to furnish their own cameras. [FALL/SPRING] Two hours lecture, two hours laboratory per week.
