EDU 220 - Portfolio Review

A course designed to document education outcomes. The Education Department at Chesapeake College views a professional “working” portfolio as an ongoing developmental progression beginning within the first two years of teacher education. The portfolio houses samples of academic work and reflections that provide evidence toward learning, growth and professional development. This course is to be taken the semester the student intends to graduate and will provide ongoing feedback to teacher candidates throughout the culmination of the portfolio process. [FALL/SPRING] One hour per week.
Prerequisite(s): EDU 101 and EDU 102 or ECD 101.
