CMJ 290 - Law Enforcement Field Work3 credits Provides students with initial practical exposure to the operating procedures of different levels and divisions of law enforcement practice. Study of the law enforcement agencies including: Maryland State Police; Maryland Natural Resources Police; Sheriff’s Departments; City/Town Police Departments; State’s Attorney Offices; and District Courts. This course is designed for students not presently employed in law enforcement. [AS NEEDED] Ten hours per week or 150 hours per semester at the worksite.
