NRP 220 - Special Populations: Assessment & Interventions3 credits A study of the medical emergencies common in the patients belonging in this group. Specialized assessment and interventional techniques are presented for the following patients: obstetrics, neonates, pediatrics, geriatrics, and patients with special health care challenges. [SPRING] Course Fee. Three weeks, 36 hours of lecture and 20 total hours of laboratory. Prerequisite(s): Current license as a Cardiac Rescue Technician or Nationally Certified EMT-I.
