NRP 222 - Principles of Medical Emergencies II5 credits This course presents the anatomy, physiology, epidemiology, pathophysiology, presentations, prognosis and treatment of common illnesses for the following: cardiovascular system, non-traumatic musculoskeletal disorders, psychiatric emergencies, gynecology, hematology and diseases of the eyes, ears, nose and throat. [SPRING] Course Fee. Five hours lecture per week; 20 laboratory hours per semester. Prerequisite(s): Current license as a Cardiac Rescue Technician or Nationally Certified EMT-I.
