NRP 233 - Advanced Trauma: Assessment & Intervention3 credits A study of kinematics, assessment, shock, and management of the trauma patient. Recognition of hazards to the patient and provider will be reviewed. This course also includes environmental emergencies. [SPRING] Three hours of lecture and 20 hours of laboratory per week. Prerequisite(s): Current license as a Cardiac Rescue Technician or Nationally Certified EMT-I.
