ACH 231 - History of American Architecture3 credits A course covering the history of American architecture through lecture and slide presentations. Students will study the origins and elements of architectural style in North America. Leaders of American architectural design will be studied, along with their practices and principles, design knowledge, integrity, and ethics. Students will participate in a tour of the surrounding area to discover the elements of American architectural style. [SPRING] Three lecture hours per week.
