CHM 121+ - General Chemistry I4 credits | Meets a General Education requirement. An introduction to the fundamental principles of chemistry including atomic structure, chemical reactions and stoichiometry. The laboratory consists of basic techniques and study of chemical reactions. [FALL] Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory per week. Prerequisite(s): Complete ENG 094+ as a prerequisite, or appropriate placement score. Prereq/Corequisite: MAT 113+ or MAT 115+ . Note: All developmental courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better in order to progress to the next developmental level or into college-level courses.
