MAT 200+ - Fundamentals of Mathematics3 credits | Meets a General Education requirement. A survey course in mathematics for non-mathematics majors. Course covers an introduction to many topics including problem-solving, consumer mathematics, sets and logic, number theory, algebra, geometry, probability, and measures of: central tendency, dispersion, and position. [FALL/SPRING] Three hours per week. Prerequisite(s): Complete MAT 031+ as a prerequisite, or appropriate placement score. Note: All developmental courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better in order to progress to the next developmental level or into college-level courses.
