Award: Letter of Recognition
Program Description: The African-American Studies Letter of Recognition was designed to provide all students with the opportunity to study the history and contributions of African-Americans to society in a variety of disciplines. To be eligible for completion of this program, a student must successfully complete three of the four recommended courses.
The Letter of Recognition can serve to acknowledge a student’s success in this focused area of study and can be used as a building block for completion of a certificate or degree program. Students should consult with the College’s Admissions Office or an academic advisor in selecting appropriate courses that address their discipline interests.
