Program Mission: The Chesapeake College Cardiac Rescue Technician Certificate provides an opportunity for EMT certified individuals to acquire the Cardiac Rescue Technician skills necessary to sit for the national certification (at the EMT-Intermediate level) and take the state protocol examination for CRT.
Program Description: The Cardiac Rescue Technician Certificate program is a two-semester, 11-month credit program designed to prepare EMTs to become nationally registered EMT Intermediates and Maryland licensed Cardiac Rescue Technicians.
