BIO 125 - Contemporary Themes in Biological Sciences3 credits A current topics, survey course in biology for biology and science majors. Topics may include genetics, physiology, ecology, environmental science, evolutionary biology, as well as current technology and techniques used within these fields. This course demonstrates the relevance of the natural sciences to daily life, and the impacts of scientific research and discovery on society. [AS NEEDED] Three hours lecture per week. Prerequisite(s): You must complete ENG 094 and MAT 031+ , or have appropriate placement test scores, prior to taking this course.
