ANT 142 - Cultural Anthropology | Meets a General Education requirement. An objective understanding of the wide variation of human cultures using the scientific method. Students will be involved in analyzing culture and personality, governmental and money systems, language, family organization, religion and other cultural characteristics of society.3 credits [AS NEEDED] Three hours lecture per week. Prerequisite(s): Complete ENG 094 as a prerequisite, or appropriate placement score. Prereq/Corequisite: Take MAT 023 as a pre or corequisite, or appropriate placement score. Note: All developmental courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better in order to progress to the next developmental level or into college-level courses.
